International Infection Prevention Week (IIPW) is here again, and it’s the perfect time to recognize the vital work Infection Preventionists (IPs) do every day. Since 1986, IIPW has raised global awareness of the importance of infection prevention in protecting patients, healthcare workers, and communities.
This year’s theme, “Stand UPPP” (Unite, Prevent, Protect, Prevail), emphasizes collective action in the fight against infection.
